The Ambition Academy is our global program for introducing potential Consultants with little or no recruitment experience into Ambition. We are continually looking to create new talent pools outside our existing profile of experienced Recruitment Consultants so that we complement our knowledge and expertise with a new and fresh perspective. We want to continue to attract, select, develop and produce the next generation of high performers and leaders.
The Academy is aimed at graduates looking for a change in career and wanting a structured career path in a leading global boutique recruitment business.
We operate the Academy across all our locations – London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The Academy structure and content is predominantly the same across the various locations, with slight variations dependant on country markets and our specialisations.
- During a 2 month period Academy recruits will develop an understanding of the Ambition Group, our vision, values and our recruitment processes.
- The structured on-boarding program will focus on sales and communication skills as well as understanding the '360 degree′ recruitment process, how to manage candidate and client relationships whilst developing an in-depth knowledge of niche markets.
- The Academy Program will offer a mix of classroom based learning (using accelerated learning techniques) and practical application under the guidance of the Academy Manager. Practical application involves rotating between the business units to develop an understanding of different markets and disciplines.
- Post the program, Academy recruits will graduate as a Consultant into one of our disciplines: Banking & Financial Services, Sales & Marketing, Technology or Finance & Accounting. Your development is on-going through guidance and coaching from your Manager and attending knowledge forums focusing on specific skills such as Negotiation, Client Meetings and Business Development.
